The Yamaha recommendation appears to be for engine oil. Transmission fluid or light weight engine oils were common recommendations of the Japanese OEMs in the 1970s because they were widely available. Bel-Ray High Performance Fork Oil is specifically designed for the unique demands of motorcycle forks. The damping performance in your forks is controlled by the strength of your springs, the motorcycle load, and your own riding characteristics. I recommend you start with the 10W grade and you can go up in grade to tune for firmer damping or down in grade for softer damping. For most folks, 10W is the best choice. You can check out our new Lubricant Advisor for more information on what Bel-Ray products are best for your bike. Thanks for writing in.
Thanks for writing in. Looks like you have done your homework on the Bel-Ray Performance Products for your Suzuki T20. We recommend you use Si-7 in the injector system of your bike. You do not need to add any H1R to the gas.
Bel-Ray Gear Saver Motorcycle Transmission Oil 80W is the oil for your transmission and wet clutch. ATV transmission oil will work fine in forks of your bike, we would recommend you use Bel-Ray High Performance Fork Oil 10W.
Good luck with your bike.
Thanks for writing in. You cannot mix DOT 5 with DOT 3/4. We strongly recommend using the brake fluid the OEM recommends in the brake system of your motorcycle. There has been extensive engineering that has been used to determine which type of brake fluid to use in the braking system.

Thanks for writing in. Bel-Ray V-Twin Synthetic Motor Oil 10W-50 full synthetic engine oil is the very best we have. (This is also packaged as Bel-Ray EXS Synthetic Superbike Motor Oil 10W-50). We recommend two different Gear Saver products for your Road Glide. First for the transmission, we recommend Bel-Ray Big Twin Transmission Oil or Bel-Ray Gear Saver Hypoid Gear Oil 85W-140. These two products are the same gear oil in different packages. The Hypoid Gear Oil 85W-140 will provide the lubrication needed for the bearings, shafts and gears while helping to quiet down the gear whine these transmissions make. For the primary we recommend Bel-Ray Primary Chaincase Lubricant or Bel-Ray Gear Saver Transmission Oil 80W. Again these two products are the same gear oil only different packages. The Gear Saver Motorcylce Transmission Oil is formulated for the wet clutch performance and will provide excellent clutch performance and wear reduction. This is a premium petroleum product.
